the only way i can say to get around it is to do a check on the username before it actual logs in to make sure the username is valid

the first one wouldnt be to hard to do but the second one would prolly take abit to do but it is possible
Would be interesting to know if vertex101's suggestion fixes your issue. The next question would be, how did it become read-only?
i went and made the utb, accounts, trivia files read-only myself just to test and see if i got that same error and i did that is why i said what i did to fix it
to me it looks like that it is unable to write to the file it needs to but i will do some messing around and see if i can get this error to come up for me and if i do i will see what needs to be done to fix it and will let you know
ok to fix this error you got 3 files you need to check
on them 3 files you need to right click on each one and go down to properties and check if the read-only is checked if it is uncheck it and hit apply then ok and that should fix your error

The way i would say to do it would be to have all the commands for every channel and then somewhere have the option where you can disable certain ones with like using a drop down box with the list of channels and then say write it to a database or file then the program reads from that file to check if they are able to use the command within that channel but that is just throwing what i know out there
i know that most bots with a song request feature uses youtube for it figured i would just throw that out there but it would be nice to see something like spotify used i got a premium account i pay for and dont even use it -facepalm-
