The first error is pretty self explanatory, for some reason the bot could not reach this site, maybe it was down for a moment, the second error is probably due to the first. Try running the installer again.

doing the exact same thing and i have to install the software ofline as my firewall blocks this version

Sounds like your firewall doesn't like me downloading files to your computer. This will continue to create problems for you as the updater does the same thing.

Nothing really, even 2.0 downloads updates this way from the same domain. Are you still getting the error about access http://www.seeingblue.us/forum? You obviously can visit the site because you're posting here.

Try redownloading the launcher again from the site and replace your current launcher with it.

i did that ive just updated to windows 8.1 i had to run the updater first then run the aplication, got it working now

Just give it an Oauth and it will determine which account it belongs to.
I can't begin to tell you when new features will come out, it all depends on the success of this release.
