[bug] Not identifying accounts joining your channel
« on: June 16, 2015, 03:53:54 AM »
Today when i started streaming i noticed that my bot wasn't greeting people when they came into my channel.  Then i noticed it wasn't updating the "live Accounts" tab.  It seems it can identify itself when it joins the channel and says "name" has joined the conversation.  This doesn't happen for any other account that does join my channels chat.

Have any clue what could be causing this issue?

Ultimate Twitch Bot Ver.- 2.0.2.7
I didn't make any changes when i logged into ultimate twitch bot today all i did was press connect and left it at that.

Thanks for making this awesome bot! I find it very useful.
I will donate when i can for sure! Keep up the great work.

It looks like the bot has joined your channel properly. I don't see any issues in your screen shot. How long did you wait for the accounts to load? Unfortunately this depends on Twitch to send you the list, it looks like that may not be happening.

Be sure you leave the bot running for a couple mins to see if they eventually load, otherwise it may be a Twitch issue and could start working on it's own eventually.

This may be an issue with Twitch right now. I've started seeing this issue with 2.0 and 3.0, they were both working last night and nothing has changed in 2.0.

We’re pushing out a change to temporarily disable JOIN and PART messages on TMI as a performance optimization ( even if you request the MEMBERSHIP cap ).

We'll re-enable it for MEMBERSHIP after e3, but this is the end of JOIN / PART for basic chat connections.

Moving forward, you will be required to request the MEMBERSHIP capability66 to receive JOIN and PART messages.

This is the cause of this issue. This breaks 2.0 and 3.0 now. I saw this coming but didn't know how soon. Looks like I will be working hard tonight to try and restore functionality.

I was thinking it might have been because of E3 since whenever E3 comes around twitch has a lot of issues.  That Bummer looks like Join/Part for bots are going to be pretty much gone. Not sure what they mean by "Membership".

Thanks for helping.
